I think even popular email / search engines like yahoo and hotmail change once in a while .
Though I agree that such change should not be frequent , which I believe is not in case of CD .... but change for the better should be incorporated and the old users would get accustomed after a while....
As of now , it looks much structured than before .

News papers and other print media do not change layout very frequent. The reason being, it effects readership. Reader feel uncomfortable when they are not able to locate their interest as usual, resulting in switching to other comfortable layouts or familiar layouts.
Think on these lines too when you are making change to layouts. Try to maintain old flavors as you move in new directions. Don't you want old desiviewers to stay when you invite new desies.

I have observed that the 'search in charcha' link has been removed from the left hand side since yday . Is it possible to add a link to 'My Messages' in the same place above 'logoff'. After charcha the next thing I generally have to visit / use is 'My Messages ' .
As an add on request : Is it possible to have the link (x) new messages somewhere in the top ........ Being on the lowest level takes it out of sight and out of mind ....... and one may not observe new messages till one scrolls down to the end .
If we can have this smwhere in the top it would facilitate immediate attention .
As a second add on can the dark blue menu tool bar be reduced to one line ...In my browser it shows in 1.25 lines which can look more balanced if it is accomodated in one line either by reducing the font size or filtering some links .... Just a suggestion subject to feasibility .

My Messages is already part of menu, It looks like you missed it.
Sure, I will move the my messages to the top, somewhere.
Again, though I have bigger menu and relatively big font, you missed the "My Messages". Are you sure reducing it will help?
