Hi all,

I am an immigrant in canada from India and already completed my stay in Canada for 2 years. Now i got a job in USA with H1B visa. My worry is if I move to US , m I going to loose my PR status in Canada or I can still become Canadian citizen..? Please someone advise me about this.

Now question no. 1.
What are the requirements for maintaining the status of PR?

Answer that and then we will go to the next question. ok?

you have already completed 2 years out of 5 years in Canada.
You will not lose status of Canada.

However, to get the Canadian citizenship you need to have 3 years.
