Right now my concern is how to go buffalo from JFK airport.'
********************************************
If too much luggage, then flight. I heard that there is a bus from Buffalo to Toronto.
Another option is to get into a private bus from JFK (NY) to Toronto.
Further more option is to get a rent a car which can be dropped off at Niagra falls / Toronto but it will be a 8 hour driving for you, which I donot recommend.

1. There are taxis in Buffalo that will drive you straight into Canada.
2. You can also walk across from Niagara falls. There is a foot bridge.
the timelines for any action in canada varies from the same timeline in india. i can vouch from my personal experience. example, to change my ticket with British airways, calling from here versus calling from india is a whole different ball game
do whatever you can , here in canada before you go to india
once you are in india it is all delays, delays, and more delays
