Hi guys.....
i got my passport back and Landed yesderday only.....applied for SIN and Health Card on the same day......
my time line is from Buffallo
Applied : January 2004
AOR : January 2004
Initial assesment with Medicals : August 2004
Additional documents : December 2004
Passport requirements : June 2005
Visa stamp and landed : June 2005
total no. of months : 15-16 months
i pass through all process of canada that is i came to canada on student then got work permit and now been PR......
Any one need help dont hasitate to ask for help........will help my best...

Hi,
Can u provide some more details of what exactly you did and when ever since the time u got a student visa? What courses did u enroll in, how you got a work permit, how long was the work permit for, when, where and how u applied for immigration and other details.

After you got your PR how did you land? Do you have to get US Visas and cross border and come back?

first of all thanx
you can go to any of the border like niagara falls, fort erie, windsor etc.... they will ask u to cross the border and turn round from US border....if u r not lucky US border officer will ask u to take a refusal letter....once u get this refusal lettter they will ask u to go back to canadian border...........on canadian border just say that u want to land in canada and they will take u inside the office and will complete the rest of the process........
well as per my exp.......canadian border service will take only 10 min to finish everything and US border will almost 100 mins to give u refusal letter...........
anyways.......keep in mind to take proof of fund with u...nothing else u need..
dont scared and be straight forward with all of ur answers....
need further infor dont be hasitate to reaply..

when i applied for student visa i forget to put my experiance letter so it dosent show in my student fie but when i applied for immigration i show it does it gonna be problem??

hi
my hubby is in canada.he was basically on student visa from sep 2006 to april 2007.then was on PGD workpermit oct 2007 to sep 2008.and right now he is having HRDSC WorkPermit since Sep'09.
he has just put up his file in this this OCT'08 .as he has having HRDSC approval,he will get extra points in PR.i m in india,i m his wife so he has also include my details at the time of PR application in Buffalow only.
how much time it will take to get PR as he has HRDSC...i think 8 months????
and also i did my diploma in computer engg -2 and half yrs after my 12th means overall i am having education of 14 and half years.how much points my hubby will get in his PR application.
