I have an Aptmt in Windsor. I was doing the same, living in Windsor and working in Detroit.

I was also thinking on the same lines. So dont we have to work in Canada to get the canadian citizenship? Just staying satisfies it? will weekend travels satisfy this criteria?

We just have to live in Canada, we can work in US
and return back to Canada everyday.
If u go back to Canada every weekend then u will get
only 2 days per week.

I do that everyday and it is not a big deal as long as you are not too far from the border. With nexus it takes me half hour to get to work and without may be 15 mins more depending on what time of the day u get to the border
