Teacher Job

I have done Master Degree in Mathematics from University of Madras in the year 1986. After completing my postgraduate studies, I worked with Indian Railways for a period of 12 years as Accounts Assistant. Now I am in Gulf where my husband is working for the past 7 years. For the past 2 years, I am working as a Teacher in International School in Gulf, teaching mathematics for all classes from 4th class to 12th class.

What are the chances of getting Teacher job in Canada?
Do I have to register with any professional body?
Do I need to have any teacher qualification like B.Ed in India? (I dont have B.Ed )

Your advices/suggestions are welcome in this regard.

Regulated Industry
Teaching falls under regulated industry and you need to have a B.Ed with years of relevent teaching expericence to be successful.
Hope this helps !

Thanks for your point. Let me know how to do B.Ed after landing Canada. Any good recognized colleges for doing B.Ed around the area of Mississauga. In terms of quality, money, recognization, which is the best place to do B.Ed course (India/Canada)?

Is anyone there to throw light on duration of the course, fee details.

Information on Agencies/Govt offices recruiting teachers appreciated.

Finally, I would like to know whether I can take tuitions at my home in Canada.

Parents are thankful to school if children are asked to study at school :D

I personally feel it is very difficult to get tuitions at home, this culture just does not exists here in Canada. You wont find children studying all the time of day. They have lot of extra curricular activities too besides study at school.
