I have been using IE for a long time but have been facing problems such as freezing of sites which are long from the scroller point of view ,would switching to Netscape be remedy to this , can both the things be used on the same machine ..?
Thanks
I would suggest Firefox which is currently a popular web browser.
You can keep both IE and firefox on the same machine.. however one will be the default browser..

Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.
I don't think the problem is because of the type of browser. The freezing occurs because of the slow connection to the server that you are trying to connect to or because of an error in the communication.

You may have an older version of IE with many security holes exploited by virii. No harm in trying out FireFox. The tabbed browsing of FireFox is very nice. If FireFox doesn't solve your problem you can get rid of it quickly.
In any case, it is a good idea to do a thorough virus check using one of the standard virus programs or the freebee from http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
Best of luck
I have been using IE for the longest time...
Its much faster than Netscape!
I dont have any problems with IE..
If you are using Windows XP...then IE should not be a problem for you..
IE had some issues with Windows ME and Windows 98...
There could also be a problem with your machine or Windows...
U may have spyware or some viruses...
Netscape is good...but slower than Internet Explorer!!
One can use crazybrowser too. This browser depends on Internet Explorer but it is a tabbed web browser and you can open multiple sites inside one main window. It does not hog on to system resources if you open multiple sites at once.
It can be downloaded free from http://www.crazybrowser.com" rel="nofollow">LINK

IE 7.0 BETA will be out soon - perhaps in the summer of 2005. Till then you could try FireFox.

It was time to go
Though the fields lay golden
Something whispered, "Snow"
