No.

Not much to do with the Operating System you are using like Win 8.1 or 10 or anything like that.

Its more to do with the Internet browser you are using to browse the internet.

Some very old versions of Internet Explorer , Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari browser might not work, due to safety & security issues. So having updated browsers is better.

Usually the website will tell you, you need so & so version of the browser and higher.

I find some websites work better with Chrome browser and some with Internet Explorer, so I have both installed on my Computer.

Also Safari browser on my Ipad. Between the 3 browsers, I have no issue opening any website .

Also having Adobe Acrobat Reader ( Free Software ) helps.

As most forms are in PDF format and you might need Acrobat reader to open those forms and print them & sign them or something like that.

Use Internet Explorer for any govt website... other browser might have some issues.

I have used Google CHROME without any issues whatsoever.

Also used CHROME for my Passport application and every year use it to net file my income taxes on CRA.

So you are very incorrect, IE is not the ONLY one for govt. sites.

Also helped a few people with EI ,OAS, CPP applications on Service Canada using CHROME.

Hi , this is my time for citizenship application in Canada. I was going through the forms and found i need the exact details of entry to and exit from Canada. In my last 4 years as a PR, i went to India once and US for couple of times for which i didn't keep the records. Is there a government site to fetch the details of my entry/exit. While exiting Canada, i can find out the dates from passport but while entering it's all electronic . Please help...

For US entry and exit , did you get an I-94 form or something ? Then you can find the details below for your exit & entry :

https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/spotlights/arrivaldeparture-history-now-available-i-94-webpage

I am guessing you traveled to US on Indian passport and a Canadian PR, with some kind of US non immigrant visa like visitor visa, work visa . So the above link should have the details.

As far as visit to India is concerned, I believe they always stamp your Indian or Foreign passport at all Indian airports when you enter India & leave India - so you will have an entry and exit stamp from the Indian officials of the Indian airport you entered & exited from.

Whenever I have traveled to India, I don't remember a single time, when they haven't stamped my passport both on entry & exit.
