Dear Mr. Masood,
We r from Bombay n have applied for immigration in Jan 2002. Got our file number in March 2002, since then there has been no communication from tha CHC delhi.
I have had a baby girl in the past year and she was born with a congenital birth defect called as Biliary atresia, for which she also underwent surgery when she was 2 months old. But even after that she hasn't recovered and now has almost complete liver damage. DOctors have suggested liver transplant as the only way of saving her. But that's not really possible in India and we can't afford it as it cost about a crore thats what we r told. SO we r just looking after her and praying to god so that she recovers.
Other then her my family consists of my husband and a three year old son. WHat we wanted to know is that will my daughter's condition cause a problem in the visa when the time comes. Should we be completely honest with the visa officer. Because anyways the medicals later would reveal everything.
Please advise.
Thanks n Regards
Mrs. Patel
I'm sorry to hear about your baby.
She will have to be added to the application. She will have to undergo medicals with the rest of you. If her condition is still the same at the time of medicals, the whole application will be refused.
If you do not advice the embassy about this new addition to your family, she will never be able to join you in Canada.
Because of the sensitivity of this issue, I invite you to email me directly if you have further questions. My online/email advice will still be free. My contact info is at http://www.sajlawyers.com/contact.php
