Kal Ho Na Ho
How many people realized while watching the movie first time, that portions of "Kaal Ho Na Ho" were shot in Toronto - especially the songs "Kuchh To Hua Hai" and "Kal Ho Na Ho". (Even though the story is supposed to be happening in New York - but hey, same is the case with Hollywood movies)
You can clearly see the Union Station, the Street Car on Front St., St. Lawrence Market, Entry/Exit from Jarvis to Gardiner and other streets.
I like to watch this crappy movie, just to get a glimpse of our city

For anybody who watched "Godsend", you can see the dome of Royal Thompson Hall in one scene.

Quite true. Everybody has their own opinion. So no surprise, it was the biggest hit of 2003.
Just that in my opinion, Shahrukh hammers all the way throughout the movie, the kids and the neighbours are quite obnoxious, Jaya Bhaduri looks fat and ugly, and comedy is banal. The only saving grace is the pair of Saif and Preity.
The movie is just the usual stuff churned out from Yash Chopra or Karan Johar camp, with ultra-rich people driving luxury cars, living in mansions and going "balle balle" during wedding. Try reading an article on this movie on rediff.
One thing that hurts the most in movie is the full screen being covered by stars and stripes during the song "pretty woman". Why does Nikhil Advani has to so much americanize the movie

It is a wonderfful movie.
Every one love to watch this movie with there families.
Good enterianment movie

Yes...I agree..I loved that movie as well...Since I have the DVD of it...I watch that movie over and over...never get tired of it...
Although yes it is suppose to be in NY...but no complains if there's aour hometown in it..so wat??
But One thing I don't like about that movie is that SRK dies...I probably have seen that movie over 10 times but have never seen scenes after the "Mahi ve" song...cannot see SRK dying..
In a nutshell...That movie ROCKS!!!

If you watch this movie on DVD and go to audio options. There are two choices in that:
1. Movie Dialogues
2. director's comentry
Select the number 2 option and in that you will come to know that the movie is actually shot in Toronto and not in New York. You do not have to sit through the movie to have a glimpse of your city Meghal.
On the whole a VERY GOOD MOVIE
