So what is my conclusion ? - There are people who are extremely sensitive in their life , who have zero tolerance towards certain things. Respect that and never chose them as tenants as you are sure to falter one day, invariably you will , no matter how careful and lawful you are. Canada is generous, govt is liberal and it is a big country, there is lot of space for extra sensitive people. Good luck and their god is to speed.
Thanks to this tenant for teaching a good lesson to all the ignorant and unaware landlords. How dare they ?!
Any guesses who is the loser here ? Any landlord in the house ?
On side note - all big books mentions forgiveness and tolerance in every page of it.
Canadian Pappu doesn't realize that and trying to be good and welcoming to that community. What can we say. That community came out in large numbers and voted for him.

getting good tenant is blessing these days...
Let's not pass judgement based on newspaper reports since all they want is to rile our biases and create controversies.
Like every legal case, there are 3 sides to the story and the judgment is not really based on facts but on presentation of the facts. The loser may have a very strong case but a not-so-smart lawyer and end up facing the consequences. The Gian gomeshi case is 1 such example where the defense lawyer proved to be too smart for the prosecution bench despite the merits of the case. It never contested whether the defendant was violent, but still received the judgment in her clients favor.
We very often arrive at a judgement based on newspaper reports despite the fact that numerous times we have come across biased reporting of facts by the likes of Toronto Star, Citynews, CP24 and even 680 news.
