Interesting article ... Now, Kerry may have overstated the reality in Bangalore, but the change in perception of india in the American mindset is very obvious and encouraging.

What can be imagined, can be achieved.
Hi Mishtar India,
I have been a resident of bangalore since the last 7 years. At the moment, a lot of fly-overs are being built and the whole city is dusty bcos of the work. In the rainy season, 1 hour of downpour leads to serious problems for commuters and results in death sometimes. Eg: A couple with a small baby girl were driving in the rain and lalded up in an open drain. Their bodies were found after 2 days, inside the car.
Kerry might be referring to booadband / high speed connectivity but that does not mean Bangalore is completely wired. However, in the next decade, bangalore will see phenomenal growth in infrastructure and IT. Kerry's perception of bangalore / India is definitely encouraging. However, as you have rightly mentioned, Kerry may have overstated the reality in Bangalore.
Cheers,
Ayaskant.

Success
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded. Bessie Stanley
