I sent my son's PR Card renewal application. When I checked the status thereof online, it says the PR card has been mailed on 25th January, 2017. However, our Apartment # in the home address is wrongly mentioned on the status page, though there is no mistake in the application form.

We have still not received the renewed PR card. Please advise in this matter.

You normally get an intimation asking you to personally drop in and pick up the renewed PR Card at a certain location, say Yonge and St.Clair etc., Your letter, that they normally send, might go to the wrong dwelling in the building, if there is such a number. Some Postal Distribution clerks, will put it in the correct mail box, if they remember the names and do the correction at the last minute. A few receivers will stick it to the correct box or leave it on the floor under the box. So, please check the timings if you can and tell the postman about it too.

You will have to make that trip to the pick up center one of these days. That is a chore that they could have avoided. Also call and tell the CIC about the boo boo. They might be able to remedy that even later, for correctness. Check if it has happened after giving them a good week. Also keep us posted here for us to get to know about it.
