My wife and son are planning to travel from Toronto to Mumbai by Air Canada to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and then by Air India direct flight to Mumbai.
Air Canada lands at Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Air India departs from Terminal B. Can anyone please guide how to commute from Terminal A to B. Is it inside the airport or do they need to come out. Time between flights is 2h 5m.
Also can anyone who has travelled by Air India (AI 144) direct flight from EWR to Mumbai share their experiences. Is the flight always on time and how is the service.
Thanks in advance.
Good question. I was looking at answers myself.
Have you tried using Google. May be you can get additional information and then share it with us.

US immigration and customs is completed in Canada by US agents stationed at the Pearson airport. This has been a standard procedure for years. Therefore, once you board your flight to EWR, it is treated as domestic and you are free to go anywhere.
Unless Air India has dramatically improved their quality of services, they suck. However, for people who might be limited by diet or languages, AI might be a better fit.

I took the same route last month - Toronto - Newark - Delhi and also changed the terminal from A to B. When you come out of the plane at terminal A, at the gate, will find an airport staff for assistance. Ask for directions for terminal B. You need to go to an internal exit door at terminal A where airport bus will be available to take you to terminal B. It will take hardly 5-10 minutes to reach there. At Terminal B, if you don't have Indian passport, need to get your travel document verified (Indian visa/OCI/PIO/eVisa) at the gate prior to boarding.
