If you land by the end of the month, you will be here to see all of the US Independence day celebrations here on the Canadian Side of the Border, such as lighting and fireworks etc., at a few locations.
Most of these were posted before on the CD website. You can also do your own search and supplement or choose a good location for yourself.

I am travelling this month from India to Toronto mostly on 18th and thru AirIndia Airlines..but my journey is pretty long hence my stay in london or USA will be more and need a visa is it true?
I am starting from hydbad my route is below:
If coming thru london:
1. hyd (starting at 9pm)-mumbai (reaching 10.30pm)..waiting time in mumbai is 4hrs .this is ok..
2.mumbai(starting at 2:20am) - london -heathrow airport(reaching 7.30am)..here in london waiting time is 6hrs..do i need an visa to stay here...agent says not required..but airindia customer service says i need to apply for transit even if i stay within or outside airport ..is it true?
If comign thru USA
1.hyd-mumbai-newyork(jfk)..here in newyork i need stay for 7 hrs to catch next flight to toronto...agent says without a valid visa you cant stay in usa...only for frankfurt and london you can apply for transit..for USA you need to have a visa...transit will not work in usa...is it true....
please reply me
Hi gondesi,
While there are regular single stop flights, I really dont understand why this long procedure from hyderabad to toronto? Is it because they charge a little lesser or any other reason?
If you are flying for the first time then save some tension and book a single stop flight like Lufthansa,AIR France,British Airways or AIR India operating from different cities.

you may be someone to the world but for someone you are the world.
I always prefer AirIndia ..I got habitude by flewing from INDIA to USA...Instead of choosing 2 halts for longer time from india to toronto, i guess ur suggestion is valuable , for this time better to choose another airlines which has less halt duration and 1 stop or non stop..i will try for it..but still i feel happy if someone can answer my question..i think many are travelling from india to toronto this month ..
I'm pretty sure you need a visa coming through the US. I think you need it for the UK as well, you can check here based on your residency.

Better to avoid the hassle and fly an airline that stops at other European airports where transit visa is not required.
