Hi,
Any body have recent experience in buying a residential property from a builder while you were here in Canada physically.
In order buy residential property in India while I couldn't be there physically, Do I need a Power of attorney to my parents
- to sign agreement with the builder.
- to register property on my name.
When I bought a property in the past, couple of years back (not from the builder though), I didn't have to give power of attorney.
Alternatively, can I ask my parents to buy the property in their name and transfer it to my name later (I think you don't need to pay stamp duty again but some kind of procedure exists).
Appreciate your response.
Thanks.
