Hello everyone,

I was initially going for study visa but changed my mind and now i am filing for immigration, I have already passed IELTS-academic exam with 7 bands
can someone advise if we can use these for my immigration filing as i have searhed on google and got very mixed responses, some people says we can do it and and some says its not right. I have got similar answers from lawyers i consulted, one says yes and other talks in different direction...can you please advise???

You can use IELTS-Academic for immigration purpose as well. There should be a problem if you use IELTS-General for student visa.

I myself had submitted IELTS-Academic for immigration purpose and got no problem.
