- Thats a good point, not to leave job when moving back to canada...but mine is private company..they wont allow me to do so.

-Your second point for doing labour job. since i lived in Canada for 5 years and have canadian exp of 4 yrs. so i guess i wont find any problem in finding job in my own software field.

- Carry enough funds (50,000 $)..i guess this is too much..for a family..
again calculation of interest is right..but i dont think anyone can survive in india with decent living even with 4lakh...i earn here mutliple figure of it.

i c the bigger picture..which means air, water, resources. etc..
when my bro visited toronto ..the very first thing he said what a fresh air it is in toronto.. u might be knowing that if u live in any metropolitan city..u cannot have that quality..

- mediclaim--i dont think u will get reimbursement of all hosptial claims.. if you go to any good pvt hosptial here, you stil have to some percentage of total amount which wud be decent amount..
in canada health care is free.. people come to india for their treatment becoz of long queue..not becoz canada does not have good medical treatment.

- money was not the issue at all when i moved back, as i was getting good pay there also.

If you are patient and work hard enough then you will make the money in 2-3 years. Its only a matter of adjusting to the lifesystle (washing, cleaning, cooking etc)

P.S. still my advise to you is don't leave job till recession is over. Even if ou are working for a private company, if you are good employee, they will certainly give you 1-2 months leave. If you take leave and come to canada you will be more happy. I have 5-6 known software engineers/consultant with both canadian and USA experience (10 years) trying for job and jobless past 3 months. If i plan to come to canada, then i would be applying jobs from india itself.
i will try to get transfer from my same company.

Its the matter of adjustment.
Canada and India has their own pros and cons. It depends upon individual to individual where one would like to live.

But i would say if u have complete family in canada, then life is heaven but if you do not have, then life is not..
