I guess you have to make a distinction between the owners of Saravana Bhavan, & the company that is incorporated here.


I am not sure there is a law that prevents a company from doing business here, if the owners are charged with criminal offenses. I know that the owner of Saravana Bhavan was charged even before saravana bhavan started operations in Mississauga.

This was way back in 2002 or '03. People used to talk in hushed tones about what actually happened.

There are people who won't visit an eatery because the owners were morally corrupt. yet others don't care, as long as the food is tasty. That is where one draws a line between the business and the (mis)deeds of the owners,
