Hello All - What's the best way to get to Saravana Bhavan (Mississauga or Scarborough from Osgoode/King using public transit? Which one's a shorter commute? Thank you

For the Scarborough location, take the Bloor-Danforth-kennedy subway eastbound all the way to McCowan road (last stop). From McCowan subway take the northbound bus and alight at Finch Avenue east stop. It is on the north west corner of Finch/McCowan intersection. Total travel time 45 min - 1 hr.

I have no idea about the mississauga location, hence cannot comment how far it is from your location.

BTW - check out the various reviews on CD for this restaurant.

Best luck.

Hiren

Then take subway west to islington or kipling.
tke mississauga bus to sq one. from sq one take bus north on HWY 10 / hurontario
get of at HWY 10 and Eglinton. Its in the mall on the right side near pizza hut or babies r us.

I think the new one at Highway 7 will be the easiest to get to on public transit.

Just take the subway all the way to Finch, then take Viva(Pink I think) and it should drop you right at Hwy 7 and East Beaver Creek. The restaurant is a 2 min walk from there.

That will be higher fare and much longer commute. I feel the scarborough is the closest...and the cheapest to reach by TTC..

Bon Apetite!

Yes, you are right about the extra fare. But, I think the commute time is about the same or slightly more. Oh and there is also a Madras Palace, right on Hwy 7 right around the corner from Saravana. I think they have a buffet. Not sure if that would be of interest to the poster.
