Java Oppportunities
Hi, I believe there is a very good demand for Java experts like you. I don't work in Java though. I am attaching some jobs boards below :

Monster (Canada) --> http://monster.ca/

Workopolis (Canada) --> http://www.workopolis.com/work.aspx?action=Transfer&View=Content/Common/WorkLoginView&lang=EN&theme=work

Government of Ontario --> http://www.gojobs.gov.on.ca/Jobs.aspx

Best of Luck

Thanks for the response. I will go through the links that you have provided.

Are we required to be in Canada for people to consider us. Can I find a job from US?

Pls check your PM.

Also you can certainly initiate while being in U.S but definately at some point of the interviews you would need to be in Canada. Also you would need to have a S.I.N no before you can start working , which one can get after being physically present in Canada.

I am in the consulting world up here and it seems to me the dev jobs are slowly making their way to India. I say slowly because I feel Canadian companies are not as agressive as the US companies.

That said, for the same reason I have stated above, depending on how well you interview, there are plenty of oppurtunities still available and the links above in previous posts should help you.

First thing u need is a Work Permit or PR.. Work permits are hard to get directly

TCS, Wipro , Patni, Satyam all have set up shops in Canada.. They are good companies to approach for WP..

If u are in the US getting PR is much faster than india.. Try and apply while u are in US..

Job market is great for Java, but salary may be slightly lower than usa... U can easily make anything from 50K to 110K in perm and 35$ to 75$per hr in contracting..
