Hi Good Day ! My family is in mumbai (They are not familiar of the area much) and would like to know places / sight seeing places around juhu beach area. And also i would be much grateful to get some more information about any reliable sight seeing tours in mumbai to book a trip from mumbai to delhi. Thanks a lot in advance
1. Iskon Temple
2. Juhu beach (dirty stretch of sand)
3. http://www.mobilecoolz.com/aviationmumbai.htm
4.Go to one of the 5 star hotel for a coffee break
Nothing much I can think of in Juhu area.
For sightseeing the best option is to hire a private taxi and go on your own with your own pace. For sightseeing places in Mumbai just google.

Mumbai is not that big and the juhu area is quite small.
Like iceberg suggested, take a cab or some such and go to the 'downtown area'
Colaba, Nariman point, churchgate, CS Terminus(vt station), Marine drive
Or if you insist going closeby try linkingroad-Bandra, for shopping, people watching etc. Quite close to Juhu.

Hi Iceberg and Jake3d thanks a lot for those valuable tips. I wished to be with my family, to enjoy those nice moments in mumbai.
Hi New York,
From Juhu you can take an a/c bus to the World Trade Center on the reclaimed area by President Hotel that belongs to The Taj Group of Hotels.
The a/c bus ride is a touristic attraction in itself and so is the World Trade Center. Nothing like the WTCs in other parts of the world but pretty good. Also there is a Reliance grocery store there, for what it is worth.
Once there, you can take a cool cab (a/c taxi) or normal one as you wish and take a trip to Apollo Bunder and see the famed Gateway of India ifo the Taj Intercontinental Hotel. From there you can take a boat ride and go to Elephanta Caves.
Also you can check out Fort and the Flora Fountain area and Colaba Causeway nearby. Also VT train station is close by. The Kala Gora area is also in the vicinity where you can check out Jehangir Art Gallery. There is also Bank Street and of course the Bombay Stock Exchange building -all in the hood so to speak.
If you are in Colaba Causeway check out Regal cinema and the Cafe Royale restaurant in front where Bill Clinton went to eat and supposedly had the special cocktail - the A.B. Vajpayee (A.B. standing for Atom Bomb - as it was during his time they tested the bomb in the late 90s). Good sizzlers there as well.
Lots of historic buildings around as well. At the end of Colaba by the Colaba post office is the Ambani household. You can check that out. Also not far from the Ambani household is the Charagh Din retail store that is the Guiness book of records as having the largest number of mens' shirts on sale under one roof
In the evening just before dark go upto Malabar Hill to Kamla Nehru park and Hanging Gardens and check them out. from there as it turns dark and the lights are lit, you'll get a magnificent view of Marine Drive and you'll know why it is called The Queen's Necklace.
In Nariman Point, there is a new mall that has come up. Small compared to those here but they have a lot of high-end stuff brand names and all.
Plenty of stuff to do and see in that area. If you are non-veg and can stomach roadside food check out Bade Mia's kabobs behind the Taj Intercontinental. Go at night- you'll see the greatest number of Mercs, BMWs. Lexus and other luxury cars packed into a small sq area.It is said that no other place in the world has so many luxury cars packed in such a small area at that time of the evening. And alongside will be the poorest of beggars. Stark contrast.
Enjoy!
Investpro thanks a lot for the valuable time you have taken to give me more information about mumbai. God bless you. You are Great
Thx the compliment new york.
I forgot the bhel and other chaat and kulfi at Chowpatty beach also in South Mumbai all close to the WTC, Nariman point area. Suneil Shetty used to have a boat restaurant off Chowpatty serving Thai food- should you wish to check that out.
