hello everybody in canada settled from India. I am still residing in India but have applied for immigration in dec.2003, with file no of dated 19th jan 2004. could anybody knows how much more time will it take to process my application.
Have you got call for Interview?

No,i have not receive any call for interview, i think that will be waivved off in my casew
You can check the status from the Immigration Canada website. Give that a shot?
I have applied in 2003 and got the file no dated july2003
I am from pakistan and I am still waitinf for the call.
but I came to know that my call is about to come in a month or so.
i suppose your call will be after mt call. i think after8-10 months.

How have you come to know about receiving a call a month from now? I thought Pakistan and India's timelines are more or less the same. From your post, it seems that Pakistan's time lines are at least 2 years ahead of India's. Lucky you!
CIC India is at the tail end of clearing 2001 cases. 2002 cases have not heard anything, forget about 2003!
if you ask from the embassy they have been replying for the last 2 years that they are finalising their 2001 cases. but this is not the way they do. they do sometimes randomly. you should keep on knocking.just courier a letter to find out about your case. then ask them to have your medical done before getting call to reduce toime.they might think that you are serious in immigartaion. thats what I am doing. and hoping to recieve my call soon. my friend has moved 8 months back. and ur case is 9 months ahead .so lets hope for the best
