Thanks to both of you for all the information. Lot of places to try out now

It seems Gomantak is still around, located in Scarborough.
Claimed to be the only authentic Goan restuarant in Toronto.

BTW, where is Verandah and Rangoli located?

Hey no probs, I love my indian food too so I know how you feel when you get a certain craving! In fact all this talk of food has given me the idea of making chicken biryani when I get home from work
