- easy access to good junior school, walkable.
- easy to access to subway by a single bus (TTC from Kipling, Islington).
- safe neighbourhood, family atmosphere........

Try Briarcrest Manor at 263/265 Dixon rd. Its at Dixon Rd-Islington instersection. One Bed room apt with big living room would be at 900 +Parking.

To be very honest, the apartment you referred was the first one I saw, I really liked the building, unit compared to others, its proximity to Public transport, nice view, neighbourhood, etc.., etc..,

However there is one small issue, I work in Downtown and I am the only driver as my wife is having trouble in exchanging her expired California license. I am additionally considering Apts close to Islington, Royal York Subway. More important thing is walkable distance to school. Appreciate your response..thanks.

Do you know any other good apartments around Islington, Royal York or Kipling Subway stations which are walkable to Subway and Junior School... Please share the information.

BTW, I found one apartment close to Islington subway, $975 for One bedroom + $75 Parking + Utilities NOT included. I heard there is one more very close to Royal York Subway Station.

Hi,
I am aware of the location that you are talking about. But that area is a dangerous area. Lot of crimes happen around that area and it is a Ghetto. There is a school there but i am not sure of the standard.
I would advise peace loving desi's to stay away from that area.
