This book sounds really good. Its nice to see some literature on the 2nd generation perspective. Its also funny because the main character is told by Harvard, her dream university, that she needs to Get a LIFE. She has smart well educated parents who have pushed her to study study study and get into Harvard.
So she pursues frivolity with the same ardor she pursued her studies with. Her parents also help her..How can this not be funny
Has anyone read it?

The book seems good. And the author is 19 years old?
Have you read ' The Inscrutable Americans '. I had found that great.

"unintentional similarities" - so that seems to be a politically correct word - just like Anu Malik's favourite "inspired" or on a different note, the (in)famous "wardrobe malfunction"
