Sankaracharya!
You are really great in the analysis and i agree with you.Sallam thalaiva!
Amie:
The competition for south indian cusine at that intersection will be good. But as S said your price has got to be low. There is a south indian dosa shop nearby but it is near a public toilet, service is slow and the price is very high (but taste is good). People who visit that place are longing for cleaner premisies.
How ever, you maynot get much business mon-friday working hours.
The sri lankan food is cheap but quality is not good at all.

Hi Amie,
Shankaracharya has done a very good analysis above. His analyses are usually very balanced and dependable.
However that should not demoralize you. Reasons being:
1. This is a recession free business.
2. You have valuable experience in the field
3. Your entry may even enlarge the market.
4. You can beat anyone in quality and, maybe, price. However lowest price is not always the best price. But pricing decision is too complex to be discussed on this forum. You maybe able to get better price than most.
You may also like to find areas where there is less competition. Have you looked at Alberta, which is growing fast? The target customers could be desis and others.
Wishing you all the best.
hello everyone
Highly appreciate your suggestions and inshort to my understanding should consider possibilities at Windsor, uptown and downtown Toronto,
Dundas and Hurantario intersection and Alberta.
Shankaracharya
Your opinion is fair enough and definetly makes more sense to analyse the negatives. We havent landed Canada yet - have long way to go .Appreciate your clear views.
