Cost of Living
Schooling - meaning educational district Good / better ?
Crime rate
any CD member living in Cambridge might give some opinion.
It is a nice, quite & small town. Around 300 Indian families live there, mostly gujarati. Few big industries in the town namely Toyota and Cambridge towels. If you are not addicted to big city blues, a highly recommendable place to stay if you have a good job offer.

How far is it from Mississauga in terms of driving distance and time, I know the connecting hwy is 401.
Any idea on cost of living what would be the rent of a 3 BR house or condo ? rough idea also is appreciated.
I am in US in a small town and always lived away from the crowded city areas. We like quite places very much, that is almost 40-50 miles away from Metro areas.

Depending upon your starting point in Mississauga. it is roughly 60 KM about 35 minutes drive on the 401 (again depending upon road and weather conditions). The cost of living is almost the same except I blieve the price of a decent 3BR house is about 1/2 the comparable house in toronto (the realtors will be able to advice better on this). A budget of 250K should get you a very nice place to live. Being just an hours drive from Toronto, it is not very far for your occassional / weekly Indian grocery etc..
