My 3 years with extention is getting over in feb 2006. Should I apply for citizenship immediately or wait for my spouse to complete 3 years (she would take around 45 days more as she was out of the country)? I have heard that it is faster if you file as a family as opposed to filing individually. My problem is that if we file seperately, then our citizenship test and oath ceremony will be seperate and If we are not in Canada at that time, we would have to make seperate trips to Canada.
