Hey

This could be a good learning to all new immigrants

could any body explain in brief but clearly whats credit history?
How one assess if his credit history is good after 6 months..1 yr..2 yr....?
what is the minimum credit history to build in ones name to get a mortgage for home or to get a loan for buying a car?

Tips:
1. Do not apply for many credit cards/credit at the same time.
2. Do not make late payments.

I don't believe they show it online, you have to have it mailed to you. I could be wrong though.

You can order online report with fees. Can save some money if you mail your req. D/load the forms from their respective websites and mail in your req.

Pay the fees and the credit report is online and it is instant too!
