Hello Everyone,

I finally got my immigration papers and now I am a permanent resident. I wanted some help regarding sponsoring parents. I am a graduate student and have been working as a Research Assistant for like 6 months now and was also a TA for one semester.

1) What is the minimum income range that I should have in order to sponsor my parents.
2) Also is it necessary to have a job to sponsor or can I instead show funds?
3) How much time does it take for things to finalize for the case if submitted
4) Where I can apply for them (they are not residing in India at the moment but have Indian nationality)

I would appreciate a quick reply. Thanks in advance
