Appreciate if anyone can suggest me -how is Applewood heights school.As my child is going to take admission in that school.it is in Mississauga also if someone can let me know how is IB course in school.Is there any advantage in taking it in school level.

still waiting for ur reply .Can anyone tell me how is Applewood heights school in mississauga and what is the difference betwee IB course and Academic course .wii there is any advantage of IB course in university?

Hi. Applewood is a good school which offers both IB & ontario syllabus. IB is definately better as it is recognised internationally. But it is for gifted students. You mean to say your son has already got admission in IB programm. As it is quite tough to get admission. My daughter is in IB program but in a different school in Brampton.

Thanks but i believed that in applewood there is no IB course.It has only applied and academic courses.How is ur daugher doing ?What are the other advantages apart of internationally recognization.My son wanted to take admission in Glen forest which has IB course.

My daughter is in W.G. davis, brampton. Are you alredy in Canada.? as admission in IB schools of peel board is thru selection. You need 3 years marksheet, Teachers recomondation & Enterance test. They combine everything & based on merit they offer admission. It depends , how you take it . but, yes some good univ. in US & Europe give credit if you done IB diploma for undergrad studies.

IB program is for gifted child ,if ur child is 80%+ he/she can get the admission for this course and is from 9th grade onwards.Even i don't know much about it ---specially what r the adv.of sending the child in this course.
