Hi,
I have a bachelors in business management from india. I want to pusue my career in bookeeping as i know that one day i can start my own business as a bookeeper. I am not familiar with any softwares. I have enrolled with shredian college for 9 courses in accounting that will exempted later on for CGA as well as they are exempted for the canadaian bookeeeping association. But the problem i have is both the university as well as the association will not give me a certificate at the end of thses nine courses for any particualr diploma or designation as for the college ....its only a continuing education and for the assocaition ..they need 3 years of experience. I am a mom of two young children and i can only start off with a contuniung education programme as i can dedicate only few hours for college. But my aim is to start working in another year or so. I have alreayd started volunteering part time for heart and stroke foundationa s an accountant/bookeeper. Can anyone suggest how else i can get prepared for the real job. it would be appreciated if anyone can give me suggestions on how to include these college courses in ym resume as i cant put it under any particular designation. I would also like to keep in touch with bookeepers/accountants so that i can have some guidance when needed.

Ok this is what I can do for you, and I have done it in the past, and treat it as service to the humanity (since it was not only restricted to help to persons of my community or country)
You need not waste money on college fee. I offer to teach you everything you need to learn in book-keeping to prepare yourself for a book-keeping job. Depending on your ability to grasp things and your interest in the subject, I can promise to make a good book-keeper out of you in between 1.5 to 2.5 months. The timing and place can be arranged as per mutual convenience.
And I will do this for no charge for two reasons - one to help someone willing to learn, and secondly, I love to teach (and by the way, I am considered to be a good private tutor, something that I have done from my college days).

Hi Chandresh,
I appreciate you for your generous offer. You can help him become an expert book keeper but without certification from any Canadian College, she will not get a job. Therefore certification is a must.
She can join Humber College for a short term cource in accounting - 3 to 6 month. during this period this college will also teach her a popular accounting software. After compeletion college awards a certificate. This certificate and knowledge of accounting software will help her landing a job in book keeping.
