Pre-2002 cases will be processed faster whereas new cases will take longer UNLESS immigration sends in more staff.

May be I am not understanding it right, but if it takes as long as over 44 months to get the PR visa, what meaning does a job offer have at the time of filing for the visa. Don't think any job offer would be valid for this long...

The job offer is not binding on the employer. Don't worry about the meaning of the job offer. Take the extra points if you can get it.

I also have the similar experiences. I got file no. on 22 Jan. 2001. I am getting 67 points as per new immigartion point system. I have not received any message regarding medical papers etc. I am completing 36 month in Jan. 2004.
What to do?
What is the solution or remedy on this pronlem. Please reply
