Congrates all of you on getting jobs in IT development...I am a java developer and in US applied for Canada PR. Can somebody give an idea on the salary you are getting as compared to getting in US? It will really help for comparision

It purely depend on your experience and market rate specific to that IT field.But if you are getting 80K + in US then you can demand anywhere between 85K and 100K or even more(In CDN ofcourse
)
For my case I was able to do a good burgain based on my US experience/salary
Thanks

Good market for ABAP Developer.
I was landed 3 yrs back..from USA and becuase of proper planning from US, I was able to get before coming here...
Means, Before I landed to canada I had job in my hand..and also my US client was ready to wait...if I decide to come back.. so it was very nice expereince for me..
But I am one of the techie...who want to brush mind always with top notch technology + 100% positive attitude.. + believe in god.. help me a lot..
Ragu,
Congratulation to get J2EE job...
I am wondering, is there any person who come from India...with J2EE experience got job easily..
US experience is always help to get canadian job, I conside it's more easy than if you have canadian exprience.. I have always seen recrutier give more preference if someone come from USA, and if someone in canada already with canadian experience..still wondering why?
That is because in US you develop good communication skills & have better ability to understand the client and make him happy by saying just what he wants to listen. If you got the same capabilities in India, you really don't need to worry in canada / us or anywhere. I have seen people who can't write if/else statement in java, getting 60K+ as a J2EE developer.
My advise is to make your resume look like you been working with international clientele. This will definitely add value.
