I work 4 days a week 12 hr shift for $12.56/ hr. Now i have an offer for a second job the employer is offering me $12.56/hr if it is cheque. If it is cash job he will give me only $9 which one i should select? I am in to deep debt so is going to work 6 days a week.

You are in which province? If in Ontario, even McD and TH pay $14.50/hr. I believe you are in BC.
Even if you are in deep debt, I would suggest you to look outside this employer since he is clearly looking to exploit your weakness.
Think of an alternate employment like truck driving where you can get more cash.
There are debt negotiating options from most provinces - check those if you can renegotiate or undergo restructuring. Declaring bankruptcy is not a taboo here.

Minimum wages in BC is $12.65 so employer must pay it as minimum. You obviously should choose $12.xx as not worth to work on cash and some day will have issues with taxman and also employer can take advantage.

Get security licensed , easy to get easy job and pay is about $15
You can work as many as hours you want.
or get Fork lift licensed - Forklift Operators are always in high demand
