My daughter goes to Sci tech and we are looking for a new laptop for her which is lightweight (she has to bring it to school everyday in bus) and also in reasonable price range
Any recommendations?
I use my machines 24 hours a day for five days and it is on plugged into the mains. The battery is fully charged at all times. It would probably last for about FOUR Good hours on a full charge. I am comfortable using a RE-FURBISHED machine. it is an HP i7 (I-7) Laptop and was purchased for $250 CAD plus Tax. Came loaded with Windows Operating System and has 8 Gigs of Memory and 360 Gigs of HD.
Similar machines are made available to you from time to time at that location and to top it off all the people, (most) who work there are DESIS.

This deal is an EVERY DAY DEAL and I use SIX such machines. They have been in use for the past FIVE Years. Also, I add an 8 gig Jump drive to enhance the virtual memory to a 12 gig level. Everyone knows how.

Dear Desi's,
I will be landing in Vancouver before the end of the year.
My main reason of coming to Vancouver is for the free and quality education of my children, grades 11 and 7.
I will be looking at putting them in good academically superior schools.
Can I look into the Frazer report and select the schools? I will look at houses for rent in that area.
Kindly show some light on this matter.,
