E-Visa for Minor - Kindly share your experiences

I have to decide between applying for E-Visa or emergency visa for travel next week.
My daughter's oci U sticker is in the old passport and new passport has been issued.

I visited the consulate and they advised the above. Emergency Visa is $210 .
I do have time to get E-Visa .

Has anyone applied for E-Visa for minor ?
Were there any issued faced in getting visa or at the airport ?

It depends on what your requirements are. E-visa duration is less than a month and cannot be renewed. If that solves your purpose, you can go ahead with it.

Take the E-Visa on the new passport.

But also carry her old expired passport with the U-Visa sticker on it & her OCI card if she has one.

So any issues at the airport, you can explain why the E-Visa was applied for and issued.
