I have renewed my daughter's Canadian passport. Is it possible to travel using old Canadian passport+oci booklet + new Canadian passport? If anyone has any recent experiences kindly share.

Nope. Don't take a chance.
Up to the age of 20, each time a new passport is issued, she has to get OCI re-issued under OCI miscellaneous services.
This is straight from the Indian gov website :
Whether OCI documents have to be re-issued each time a new passport
is taken?
OCI registration certificate have to be got re-issued each time a new passport
is issued up to the completion of 20 years of age, and once after completion of
50 years of age in view of biological changes in face of the applicant.

Thanks for your reply. I visited the consulate and they advised the same. I would have to apply for e-visa or emergency visa

Yeah , for age 21-50 there is no issue. But for minor and Seniors there is an issue.
But good thing for senior is you only have to do it once after age 50. For minor each and every time you have to do , when a new passport is issued.
I think the OCI for a minor doesn't really make any sense. Probably a 5 year visa makes more sense.
