Did the same on the last 2 trips, saved a ton. Out here the curtains would have cost an arm n a leg and no guarantee it'll come out the way we wanted it.
On a non-related note, it cost me $50 just to get one curtain washed here, I have 8 of them

So where did it cost you $ 50 to get washed?
If I were you, I would use the coin wash where in industrial washers are there. The cost is $ 1 more than the normal washers and hence I assume that you could have got it done for $ 6 (incl. drier). One is at the corner of scarlet road (scarlet and dundas st west - near Jane st).
