Recommendations for family friendly camping sites near Surrey, BC (GVA)

Looking for camping site suggestions

- preferably less than 3 hours from Surrey
- family friendly
- preferably near a lake/body of water
- fire pits allowed
- clean showers

Though, I have never been to camping, but heard some good reviews on the following sites:

1. Cultus Lake - 1.5 - 2 hrs drive from Surrey
2. Golden Ears Provincial Park - 45 to 1 hr. drive
3. Porteau Cove: 1 hr drive.
4. Alice Lake (small, but quite): 1 hr drive
5. Williamson's lake: Not sure (but I think it's farther than Squamish and Whistler).

I am not sure if there are some good park grounds in close proximity to Surrey, but the closest is 'Golden Ears', which I visited a few times for the day trip and not for camping.

Furthermore, the view of Cultus lake is beautiful as well - surrounded by snow capped mountains.
