Travelling to India , Can I purchase ticket from India instead of Canada . I heard that with a new rule you have to buy ticket from the origin country !

I had purchased parents ticket (in Jan 2012) from Toronto for Mumbai to Toronto. What kind of rule you are referring to ? Simply contact airline and get the answer.

There is no such rule. I bought the ticket very recently. Just go for it!
