Hello all,

Here I have a question.

I don't have family in Canada. My father is old and my family will look after him, while I complete my stay in Canada till 2013.

So,

- can I say, I will bring the family later ?
- can I say I am here for business, but hope to find a well paying job in IT and then bring my entire family.

- Can I say, I am enogh qualified and experienced now after 4 years that I am feeling confident of settling down in Canada

- Can I say, I have found a project cliet who will have a contract with me for next 1 year ?

Hello senior Desis,

I have done landing in Canada in April 2008, stayed for 7 days, got the SIN, PR card valid till April 2013.

I left Canada after a brief stay of 7 days. And haven't entered at all after that.

Now I have less than 730 days left on my PR...but i wish to enter via Toronto on a business trip.

Will they allow me to enter Canada on PR card or will ask for separate Business visa ?

Thanks in advance for a comprehensive reply.

And if I get in than how to insure that I get a renewed PR card, when I know that on the renewal application I have not completed the mandatory days. Would the officer issuing the card will wave of this condition if I inclose a solid letter alongwith my PR renewal application explaining the reasons for my absence and my future committment to stay in Canada.

Hello,

Just an update for every one. They allowed me in. The emigration officer was upset. But she allowed me in. As some one said, they can not refuse you entry, if you have valid PR card.
