Rajdhani .(veg only ) . Etobicoke + 1. We usually take out from this place. Last time found a few rocks in Dal Makhani, need to be very careful while eating.

+1 to India's taste. Last time we went there for buffet a couple of us just had appetizers and pani poori

+1 to India's taste..actually it is also good option for catering. So for a small formal/informal gatherings it is very good and economical.

We tried:
Pav Bhaji – nothing special about it. Us se achi to apne gharpe banti hai. (This is just me though)
Chinese Bhel – I found it bakwas

Went to "Jalsa" couple of weeks ago. Vadapao and Sev Puri were good, Pulao was OK while Chinese Bhel was a disappointment small portions and very dry. I have found the same problem with most desi restaurants including Jalsa. They skimp on waiters and cooks thereby increasing the waiting time. Just two waiters for 8 tables?
Let us see how long this Jalsa restaurant is in business.
Recently tried a new south Indian restuarant (open for about 3 mos. or so) at the intersection of Hurontario and Briston in Mississauga. The name is "Maa Sagar". We went on a weekday and ordered a la carte (they have a buffet on weekends). Food was really good and comparable to Guru Lakshmi.
Not sure about the buffet though, will try it out sometime.
On another note, went with some relatives visiting from the states a few weeks back to Guru Lakshmi's new location in Brampton. Wonderful all around experience for a change. His new location is much more spacious and the service was great. Food was amazing as usual. The folks from the US loved it.

Btw, heard Dev's Haveli has closed down. The quality of food and service had deteriorated from when it opened, but still was a good option to have.
