This won't hit your credit history but parking company (or their affiliate company) will start sending you invoice or call.

After sometime (usually couple of years) your this collection account will be sold to collection agency (for pennies to a dollar receivable) and they will harass you by calling many-many times in a day (mostly by auto-caller). I know you know the rules/your rights but they don't care until you take or threaten to take some legal action (only sometimes threat will work). Please understand this is a regular case for collection agencies (they hear such legal threats everyday many times) and their agents get commission for each collection.

You will realise at that time it is better to pay or you have to spend at least 10 hours (can be more) of your time to clear this issue.

But again it won't hurt your credit history but you will be sick of receiving the phone calls at odd times. This is their way (by harassing) to collect small amounts.
