I am a software professional with 2. 5 yrs of software experience from IBM and Accenture in India. I am travelling with my husband on spouse visa to Toronto this July. He is going for higher studies. I am told that the spouse work permit processing will take close to 50 days. I want to know from people like me who travelled on spouse visa, how they went about getting a job there. Can we apply for jobs in the first 50 days, while our work permit is getting processed. Also would like to know about the procedure of application to software jobs in Toronto.
