Because of my visa limitations in the US I'm looking at Toronto or any where in the Canada as a fall back option. I'm looking for an internal job transfer for self and my spouse. I plan to move to Canada if our internal job transfers work out. That being said, I will be driving in to Toronto this holiday weekend. I have a few questions. Hope this forum will be helpful as always :-)

1) To stay for five nights with a less time consuming Indian buffet nearby for a $75 cap price range is Mississauga the only option for the hotel?

2) I would like to check a few apartment communities spread across the GTA during this trip to evaluate our move. Looking for a decent residential community,upper middle class in Indian terms with a very good/good school district. (not necessarily crowded skyrises). In the price range similar to $1600 - $2000 US East Coast House - that is what we rent for now. Both of us work and drive, not big time outside eaters, so being close to Indian groceries,Indian hotels etc is not mandatory. Our work place could be anywhere in the GTA between Mississauga and Markham.

Question is not clear.

2. School ratings are here http://ontario.compareschoolrankings.org/SchoolsByArea.aspx?schooltype=secondary. You can search by city like Toronto, Mississauga, etc.

School boundaries are sometimes posted on school's website. Otherwise Google it. Feedback for some areas would have been covered in old posts in Charcha.
