Going back to the afro culture, we are to, but, realise that they have been slaved for centuries. I have quite a few african friends who are well educated and holding good positions. But, they, wouldnt assist in recruiting an african brother of theirs! Being enslaved for so long, revolt comes into their blood. The anger remains for generations. Dont you all think, we also contribute our small share into widening the gap? They are born athletes, who have not been given the chance to come up. Isnt their financial status as good or bad as any poor family in Asia with too many kids, one earning member and so on? Check out the number of social organizations that work to improve their lives and you will be surprised! Their dressing sense comes from their attention seeking syndrome, where they seek to be treated as nothing more than a fellow human being. In general, I have noticed that they are colorful, flambouyant etc. But they are quite hardworking too. Check any African country today. Its ridden with corrupt politicians who are bribed by either the whites or asians, for their own benefit. Imagine driving a flashy car when a majority of the others dont even have a glass of clean drinking water, let alone a square meal!

Come on guys. Let us at least accept them as humans. Then we will see the change

I think this post is getting to point of being racist. How would you feel if someone started a post about us Indians and then put us under the microscope. Why we wear the "dot", "eat curry" ,"always look for good deals", "dont tip" etc etc. Sterotyping is real easy. I guess its another form of racial profiling. It hurts when you get stopped at the airport just for "looking a certain way". We sometimes dont realize what is being racist.
Cmon guys we live in a melting pot of cultures. Avoid certain neighborhoods and stay safe...just like you would in some parts of India.

manserwadekar needs to work a bit more on the humor part. Tacky comments really!
