While leaving canada they are not stamping exit date on your passport so how we can calculate days in Canada ?
In my case I landed on 16th March 2010 & left on 3rd April . I was expecting immigration staff to put exit stamp on my passport but once i finish with air line counter & got boarding pass there is not immigration counter before entering in flight .
I have visited several countries in middle east & south east asia & off course India . They always do exit stamp & enter in computer .
What is the proof of our exit date ?

Simple. The entry stamp in your Passport with the Airport where you landed after you left Canada and the date there in, is all that they require here. It is all stored in the BIG HUGE computer the government has maintained. They have slowly filled all or most of the entries going back to the 1800's.
Canada has been keeping track of all of the incoming and outgoing manifests for the past two centuries.
Is this a sufficient answer for your query?
Freddie.
Thanks Freddie ,
Still curious about canadian immigration department ..
Why they dont stamp / enter in computer when we leave country ? They have fool proof system , what may be the reason to not to stamp exit date on passport ? why they should rely on other country's entry stamp ?

Quote:Because the onus of proof is always on an applicant to establish that they are meeting citizenship and/or PR requirements.
