Hi , I was landed in 2010 stayed 3 weeks and went back to middle east . I came back in 2012 and staying in Canada since then . I went to india for a month in 2013 & 2014 . I submitted my PR renewal once I completed my 730 days stay in November-2014 . I got reply from CIC that I should submit color & clearly visible copy of my passport . I submit same in February-2015 . It seems that they want to verify my stay in middle east as I did one month on-off job in middle east so there are several arrival - departure entries in my passport . But as far as Canada entry it was clear . I landed in 2010 stayed 3 weeks & went back . Again I came back in june 2012 and stayed in Canada since then , went to india one month each in 2013 & 2014 . When ever I see stauts on cic web site it shows " in progress " I called by phone , they replied that It is under review and no further document is required on & more delay . It has been 9 months but still my PR card not is renewed . Please guide me where can I complain or ask ? As on call center number I am getting limited info and can not ask them more question .

You have properly replied to the PR renewal request. Your Application for renewal was made prior to the due date in November 2014. (May be a few months before). then they asked you for the copy of your passport and explain to them the several trips in and out of M.E. Some times they do their own Police check. I hope that you also have a PCC for your Citizenship from the M.E. If you had done that prior to landing here, when their own check is done with a request from the Canadian Government, they also would have got an identical PCC certificate, to the one you got. DID You apply for a PCC from them, before you left M.E.?
Well that is neither here nor there. The main point is, since February of 2015 it is only 4 months and they normally take full SIX Months, unless you made a specific request for an express processing and paid that extra fifty bucks for that, you will have to sit down and tweedle your thumbs till you get your renewed P.R.Card. They will take their own sweet time. So, have a little more patience and bear with it. Now enjoy your summer. Do you find it too hot?
I hope that you have your Old PR Card and the IMM 5292 for landing here in Canada and your Passport also. If you do, then, you are good as gold here.

Thanks FULL HOUSE . My PR Card was expiring in March-2015 so I applied in Nov-14 . Time line on cic shows that They are processing PR card renewal received up to April 16th . Yes I submit all PCCs as part of immigration process ( before my first landing ) . Any how I will wait more ... nothing can be done ... . Summer is not too hot in Fort Mcmurray , temp reaches 30 max.
I guessed that you were an Oil Field Worker, since you were on a month and off a month.That was in the M.E. How do they handle the shift change at (Wood Buffalo) Mac.
I also guessed that you were some where in the North. Thanks for the information. You should get the PR.Cards within the month and I just extended the time to Six Months to keep mind at ease. Only thing is that you have to make a trip in to the town to exchange it to the new one.
We are already losing two minutes of SUN each day and you will find that the summer is gone even before it gets started.

In Fort Mcmurray we have 7 days ON - 7 days OFF schedule & 12 hours duty , Company provide camp accommodation with free food but I stay in town to be with family.
